Directions:

  • First print out the printable, that is listed above in the supply list. You will want to print it out on a single sheet of orange cardstock paper. You only need ONE print per Halloween craft.
  • Now grab your wood clothespins and craft pom poms.
  • Pinch ONE pom pom into each of the clothespins. You now have THREE polka dot paint brushes!
  • Next squirt the THREE different paint colors {black, purple and green} on the paper plate.
  • Dip one clothespin paint brush in each of the colors.
  • Now you are ready to paint! Add polka dots along the rim of the wreath design, in the printable, in a pattern design. My suggestion is to start with one color and count spaces in between.
  • When done with the painting step, place the paint covered “brushes” on the paper plate and set it aside.
  • To finish off the polka dot monster wreath craft, glue on the wiggle eyes, one by one, on each of the painted polka dots.
  • And that’s it! Set it aside to let it dry completely before displaying proudly.
  • Don’t forget to snap a few pictures during and after, so I can see your Halloween eyeball wreath in action! You can always tag us on Facebook or Instagram for easy sharing! #gluedtomycrafts

Craft Activity Safety Guidelines:

Always Ensure Adult Supervision - Young children should be supervised at all times when engaging in craft activities. This is essential to keep them safe and ensure materials are used correctly. Use Age-Appropriate Supplies - Choose craft supplies that are suitable for your child’s age. Check labels for recommendations and avoid items with small parts or sharp edges for younger children. Modify as Needed - Feel free to adapt materials or steps to meet your child's abilities and safety needs. For example, substitute scissors with safety scissors if necessary. Keep an Eye on Allergies - Be mindful of potential allergens in craft materials like glue, paint, or certain fabrics. Opt for non-toxic and hypoallergenic options whenever possible. Organize and Secure Supplies - Keep all craft tools and materials organized. Store sharp objects, small parts, and potentially hazardous items out of reach when not in use.
