Clothespin Alligator - Kid Craft Idea

This alligator themed kids craft is perfect for bringing some fun pretend play into your child’s life. With easy customization, there’s no excuse not to try it out!

Craft Supplies:

  • Wooden Clothespins – one per alligator craft
  • Green Paint Marker
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Craft Scissors
  • School Glue
  • Small Wiggle Eyes
  • Black Sharpie Marker

Directions:

  • First have children color their clothespin {one per alligator} completely green.
  • Set aside them aside to allow them to dry.
  • Next grab your white cardstock and scissors.
  • Cut out some pointy, triangle teeth for the alligator.
  • Now go ahead and “pinch” the teeth, in between the painted clothespin.
  • Follow that up by gluing on the tiny wiggle eyes.
  • Finish off the Clothespin Alligator, use the black Sharpie marker to draw on some squiggly spikes, along the clothespin.
  • Then set aside to let it dry completely.
  • Display/play with your wooden alligator proudly!
