WP Recipe Maker:

We use WP Recipe Maker for our readers to be able to print out our tutorials in written form. Bootstrapped Ventures, the developer of WP Recipe Maker, does not have access to any of the data collected by the plugin on our website. This is all stored in our local database and not communicated back to them. Our website simply collects data to see what tutorials are being printed and how frequently. This allows us to see what is popular and what is not.

When comment ratings are enabled, we store the rating a user has given to a recipe along with the personal data WordPress core stores. These cookies are stored for 30 days. User submitted data is stored indefinitely in the local database.

Newsletter Plugin:

We use the Newsletter Plugin for maintaining a subscriber list. To learn more about them and how they comply with GDPR Compliance, please click here: https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/documentation/subscription/gdpr-compliancy/

When the subscriber submits his/her data (email, name, …) using a subscription form, he/she gives consent to treat the data both by the explicit action of submitting and by checking the privacy checkbox. Without checking that privacy checkbox the data cannot be submitted.

Becoming a subscriber to our newsletter allows us to send you promotional emails containing information from our website, that we think you will find interesting. We store your name and email address for purposes of delivering such communications. Signing up for our newsletter only allows you to receive newsletters from us, directly to your inbox, with the email you provide.

By subscribing to our newsletter on the Website, you agree to receive updates that may also serve advertising purposes. Our newsletters include tracking pixels, which help us analyze the effectiveness of our online marketing campaigns. These pixels allow us to see when you open an email and which links you click, enabling us to tailor future newsletter content to better match your interests. While we may share aggregated subscriber behavior with third parties, we do not share individual user behavior with any third party.
