Craft Supplies:

  • Wooden Clothespins – 1 per craft
  • Craft Paint
  • Paint Brushes
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Cardstock Paper
  • Scissors
  • School Glue
  • Small Wiggle Eyes
  • Black Marker

Directions:

  1. First have children color their clothespin {one per fox} completely.
  2. When done painting the clothespin, set it aside to let it dry completely.
  3. Next up, grab your matching colored cardstock paper and scissors.
  4. Cut out a small triangular head, two ears and curvy tail for the fox.
  5. Now go ahead and glue your cardstock head/ears to the clothespin. The head will go on the front, while the tail on the back.
  6. Finish off the Wood Clothespin Fox Puppet by gluing on the wiggle eyes to the cardstock head and draw on a nose with the black marker.
  7. Then add some white paint to the tail and head, before setting aside to let it dry completely.
  8. When ready, display/play with it proudly!
