These handprint unicorns are the perfect keepsake craft idea for kids! Fun, colorful, and so easy to make!
Craft Supplies:
- Free Unicorn Themed Template Printable {UNICORN PRINTABLE FROM BOX.COM}
- White Cardstock Paper
- Color Printer
- Washable White Craft Paint {or any shade you like but white works best!}
- Large Foam Paint Brush
- Paper Plate
- Baby Wipes
- Colored Marker
- optional materials for this craft – embellishments like loose craft glitter, stickers, rhinestones etc.

Instructions:
- First grab the FREE Unicorn Head printable above. Print it in color on white cardstock paper {this is very important so the craft turns out correctly} You only need one print per craft.
- Next grab your white craft paint and paper plate.
- Squirt some paint on the paper plate.
- Paint your child’s hand {their right hand so the pinky “tail” is in the right place} completely white and press it in the center of the printable to create the body of the unicorn.
- Use baby wipes to remove the excess paint off their hand and send them to the sink for a quick wash.
- While they are washing up, if desired, add some glitter on top of the WET white paint for a more fun look!
- Then set it aside to let it dry completely before you draw on the finishing touches {tail hair and hooves} with the markers.
- Optional step – add other embellishments you see fit, as well as having children sign the bottom.
- Then display/gift away your handprint unicorn paper craft proudly!
