Craft Supplies:
- Ruff You Printable – on our landing page
- White Cardstock Paper
- Washable Craft Paint
- Small Paper Plate
- Large Foam Paint Brush
- Baby Wipes
Directions:
- First print the free dog template printable {in color} on some plain white cardstock. You will need ONE printable per craft.
- Squirt some brown craft paint on a paper plate.
- Ask your child to pick which hand they will use for the DIY. My suggestion is to lay the hand on the printable {unpainted} and decide before adding paint.
- Now paint your child’s hand completely with the craft paint & press in the center of the printable to make the BODY OF THE DOG.
- Clean off excess paint from the hand with baby wipes and finally with soap & water at the sink.
- Set aside your keepsake to let it dry completely.
- If desired, add other embellishments you see fit to your Dog Themed Keepsake piece.
- Then display/gift proudly!
