Fingerprint Flower Garden

Inspired by spring and school sadly coming to a close soon for the year, today’s Thumbprint Flower Garden craft idea is super easy to make within minutes and it’s relatively inexpensive too.

If you have a printer in your home – you are well on your way to pulling this DIY keepsake activity together and creating a great piece to gift to someone who is molding our next generation!

In this post, I’ve included a FREE printable, so all you need to do is print the file in color on white cardstock paper, grab some of your favorite colored ink pads and have children decorate the flower box with thumbprint flower petals. It’s so simple, you have NO excuse NOT to pull it together!

So let’s get to it! Download the file below and get to work on creating this adorable “helping me grow” themed craft today. I hope you enjoy making it with your child as well! Happy crafting my friends!

Thanks For Helping Me Grow Craft Idea For Kids To Make

This simple, yet sophisticated project will leave lasting memories and take only minutes to make! Everything about the process from the materials needed, steps to create it and even what makes it extra special will be included! Let’s get crafting together!

Craft Supplies:

  • FREE PRINTABLE ON OUR LANDING PAGE
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Washable Ink Pads
  • Baby Wipes
  • Small Rhinestones/Adhesive

Directions:

  • First print the free template printable, listed above, on a single sheet of white cardstock. You only need ONE print per craft.
  • Next grab your ink pads. Have children press their thumb {or any other finger} on the ink pad, then on the printable to create flowers.
  • Repeat to make “flowers” ALL ALONG the garden.
  • Clean off their fingers with a baby wipe and a quick trip to the sink.
  • To finish off the Thumbprint Flower Garden, add small rhinestones to the center of the flowers.
  • Go ahead and add any other embellishments you might like.
  • Then display proudly! or give away to someone to enjoy!
