Leaf Fox Handmade Cards

With just a few simple supplies, you and your kids can create beautiful cards that make any occasion special.

Once upon a time on Glued To My Crafts, I had a “leaf fox themed” blog post that went viral…

That particular post was titled Popsicle Stick Foxes.

Although the blog post is all about taking some popsicle sticks and making some “fox faces” out of them, a simple picture I added at the end of the post, is actually the idea people responded to the most. Go figure? Right?

So as I was making my goals for 2018, I decided to bring this “leaf fox” idea to the fore-front and give it it’s own spotlight today!

After thinking about it {lots of brainstorming went on} handmade cards just spoke the most to me and here we are! This is my Decorative Leaf Fox Handmade Cards tutorial and I hope it’s as popular as my idea as before!!!

Perfect for ANY day of the year to recreate and send to friends & family afar! Just keep scrolling to learn more!

Invite the kids to create something special and unique with their hands!

Making handmade cards with decorative leaves is so much fun – and it’s a great way to spread joy and show someone you care.

Craft Supplies:

  • Decorative Leaves
  • Large Glue Dots
  • Cardstock Paper/Card Fronts
  • Scissors/Paper Trimmer
  • Adhesive Runner/Glue Stick
  • Medium Sized Wiggle Eyes

Directions:

  • First things first – if you haven’t already, make your card and card front. Use a paper trimmer to trim it down in size. You cards can be any size, as long as the plastic leaf fits on the front of it, with space around for embellishments.
  • Now grab your plastic leaf {one per fox/card} and glue dots.
  • Adhere your plastic leaf to the front and center of your card.
  • Next grab your remaining cardstock and scissors.
  • Cut out TWO small triangles for the fox’s ears. Adhere those onto the card.
  • To finish off your Leaf Fox Cards, adhere the wiggle eyes and a circular cardstock paper nose to the leaf.
  • Then add other embellishments you see fit before mailing away!
