Here’s a fun craft idea for the kids! Thumbprint cupcake birthday cards are sure to bring a smile to any recipient’s face.
Craft Supplies:
- Washable Yellow Ink Pad
- Cardstock Paper
- Basic Paper Craft Scissors
- Thin Tip Sharpie Markers
- Baby Wipes
Directions:
- Use my pictures above for an example of how to place your thumbprint marks.
- First things first – open up your yellow ink pad.
- Place your thumb on the ink pad, then on the paper. You want to make TWO yellow thumbprint marks for each cupcake design you want on the card front.
- Clean off excess ink from your thumb with a baby wipe and a quick trip to the sink.
- Next draw on embellishments on the thumbprints, with the markers, to give them the look of cupcakes {don’t forget the candles & sprinkles!}
- Finally, trim down your cardstock paper pieces to add to a card front for easy mailing!
