Hi friends – welcome to our Paper Scrap Birthday Cards tutorial!
Today I’m sharing a CREATIVE way to use up those paper scraps you just CAN’T bear to throw away. {You know you are a paper hoarder like I am!}
I personally LOVE to make & send cards to friends & family on various occasions. It’s just an extra, personal step I like to do and it means more than a simple text, facebook message or email.
And although these birthday themed paper scrap cards are pretty simple and inexpensive to make – they still look pretty impressive {if I do say so myself!}
With them being totally customizable on what you have on hand – you can make these cards for different personalities and themes.
So scroll on through the tutorial below and learn how YOU can make these paper scrap birthday cake cards in a matter of minutes! #gluedtomycrafts

Paper Scrap Birthday Card Supplies:
* Cardstock Cards {any size you like!}
* Various Paper Scraps {the fun print ones are the best!}
* Scissors/Paper Trimmer
* Tombow XTREME Adhesive {affiliate link}
* Sharpie Markers
Optional – Inkpad & Birthday Stamp

Directions:
* Using your scissors – first trim down your scrap pieces to give the look of a stacked cake. This is done by cutting rectangles out of the scraps and then trimming each one down a bit, as the cake gets taller. {You can also make a stacked pile of presents}
* Now grab your adhesive and apply it on the back of each scrap piece. Place them on the card.
* Add other embellishments like candles, bows etc.
* If desired – add a stamped “birthday” sentiment somewhere on the card.
* Repeat process for each paper scrap birthday card you want to make!

Super easy, right?! I hope it inspires you!!! Be sure to also check out our Sponge Painted Birthday Cake Cards post for another handmade card idea!#gluedtomycraftsinspiresyou

I believe I got them at Michaels back then. This tutorial is a few years old so my memory is a little faded. I mostly shop at Michaels though -Stacey
