Fingerprint Pumpkin Patch Craft
Inspired by fall and the absolutely best “pumpkin everything” season – today’s Thumbprint Pumpkin Patch kids craft idea is super easy to make within minutes and it’s relatively inexpensive too.
If you have a printer in your home – you are well on your way to pulling this DIY farm activity together and creating a great piece to show off ALL season long with the kids!!
In this #gluedtomycrafts post, I’ve included a FREE pumpkin patch printable template, so all you need to do is print the file in color on white cardstock paper, grab an orange ink pad and have children decorate the field however they like with their thumbprints. It’s so simple, you have NO excuse NOT to pull it together!

Get creative this fall with this easy and fun thumbprint pumpkin patch craft!
Craft Supplies:
- Pumpkin Patch Printable
- White Cardstock Paper
- Printer
- Washable Orange Ink Pad
- Baby Wipes
- Sharpie Markers
Directions:
- First print out the free template printable on a sheet of white cardstock. You only need ONE print per craft.
- Next grab your orange ink pad. Have children press their thumb {or any other finger} on the ink pad, then on the printable.
- Repeat to make pumpkins ALL OVER the pumpkin patch.
- When done adding the fingerprints, clean off your fingers with a baby wipe and a quick trip to the sink.
- To finish off the Thumbprint Pumpkin Patch, draw on stems/leaves with the Sharpie markers.
- Then display proudly!
