Baby Bear Footprint Keepsake

You guys already know I LOVE sharing keepsake printables with my readers, right here on Glued To My Crafts.

They are actually one of my favorite things to create on the computer and then I’m on a printing spree for the day {I usually make a HUGE batch of different designs, so be prepared for more ideas for Father’s Day gifts in the coming days!}

And with the celebrating day right around the corner and I have yet ANOTHER keepsake idea that is PERFECT to make and gift, in honor of grand ole’ dad! This time with a “baby bear” woodland theme.

All you need to do is download my FREE From Your Baby Bear Keepsake Printable below, print it on white cardstock paper and add your child’s sweet little footprint in the center. Then finish off with bear embellishments and gift away! Super simple, right?!

Footprint Baby Bear - Father's Day Keepsake Printable

Show dad you care this Father’s Day by making him a special keepsake! Capture your baby bear’s footprint in a fun and creative way – perfect for displaying in a frame or book.

Craft Supplies:

  • Baby Bear Printable – on our landing page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Washable Brown Craft Paint
  • Foam Paint Brush
  • Paper Plate
  • Baby Wipes
  • Wiggle Eyes
  • Small Black Pom Pom
  • School Glue Glue

Directions:

  • First grab the FREE Baby Bear printable above.
  • Print it in color on white cardstock paper {or any color you like but remember it needs to be a light shade!}
  • Grab your brown craft paint and paper plate.
  • Squirt some paint on the paper plate.
  • Pick a foot – any foot.
  • Now paint the bottom of your child’s foot completely brown and press it in the center of the printable to create the bear.
  • If desired, while the paint is still wet, add some loose craft glitter to the bear’s belly for a fun look.
  • To finish off the baby bear footprint keepsake, paint on some ears, as well as adding the wiggle eyes and pom pom nose to make him come to life!
  • Set aside to let it dry completely.
  • Add other embellishments you see fit, as well as having children sign the bottom.
  • Then display/gift proudly!
