Directions:
- Grab the provided FREE Baby Bear printable listed above in the supply list.
- Print it out, in color, on a single sheet of white cardstock {or any color you like but remember it needs to be a light shade so the brown craft paint pops}
- Grab your brown craft paint and small paper plate.
- Squirt a small amount of craft paint on the paper plate.
- Pick a foot – any foot {or hand!} Doesn’t matter 🙂
- Now use the paint brush to paint the bottom of your child’s foot completely brown.
- Working quickly, press their painted foot DOWN in the center of the printable to create the bear print.
- Carefully lift their foot off the paper.
- Clean off excess brown craft paint from their foot with a few baby wipes and a quick trip to the sink.
- Next up, use the remaining brown paint on the paper plate, go ahead and paint on two small ears on top of the footprint you just made on the paper.
- Now set aside the paper to let the paint dry completely before moving on.
- When the footprint on the paper is dry, go ahead and glue the wiggle eyes on top of it, as well as a small oval shaped “nose” to complete the bear look.
- Finally – use the green & brown crayons to color in the tree design that is blank on the printable and have children sign the bottom.
- Add other embellishments you see fit {maybe some glitter or small heart stickers!}
- Then display/gift away proudly!
