Footprint Christmas Tree on Car - Keepsake Idea For Kids To Make

Create a keepsake gift with your kiddo today! This footprint Christmas tree on car craft is the perfect addition to your holiday decor.

Craft Supplies:

  • Car Printable – on our landing page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Washable Green Craft Paint
  • Paint Brush
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Baby Wipes
  • Markers

Directions:

  • First grab the Footprint Christmas Tree printable.
  • Print it out, in color, on a single sheet of white cardstock. You only need ONE print per keepsake craft.
  • Now grab your green craft paint and paper plate.
  • Squirt some on a paper plate and pick one of your child’s feet {any foot will do!}
  • Paint the bottom of your child’s foot completely green.
  • Working fast, press the painted foot on top of the car, in the printable. You want the print to look like it’s floating on top of the car.
  • Now lift up their foot and quickly remove excess paint from their foot with a few baby wipes & a quick trip to the tub.
  • After cleaning off their foot, it’s time to embellish it! Go ahead and grab your various embellishments to give the green “footprint” on the paper, the look of a Christmas tree tied to the top of a car. I did ours with Sharpie markers and small rhinestones.
  • When done decorating, have children sign the bottom somewhere so you can remember who and when it was made.
  • Then display/gift away proudly!
