Handmade Cupcake Liner Car Cards - Kid Craft

Get crafty with the kids this weekend! With just a few simple supplies, they can make this fun and festive cupcake liner car card that doubles as a sweet keepsake.

A handmade card features a cupcake liner car crafted from a blue cupcake liner, with foam shapes for wheels and windows, decorated with red and pink hearts. The text reads, “Driving by to say I love you!”.

Cupcake Liner Car Card Craft Idea For Kids

Looking for an easy and fun craft idea for kids? This cupcake liner car cards craft is perfect for all ages!

Craft Supplies:

  • Cupcake Liners
  • Cardstock Paper
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Black Cardstock Paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue Stick
  • Black Marker
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  1. First grab ONE cupcake liner and flatten it out with your hands.
  2. Go ahead and now fold the flattened cupcake liner in half to look like a taco.
  3. Glue that piece down, in the center of your cardstock paper.
  4. Once the cupcake liner is down, grab your other sheets of cardstock paper and scissors.
  5. Cut out windows, circular wheels, light etc. for your car.
  6. Glue those in place on the card front.
  7. Now take your black Sharpie marker and write “driving by to say” around the finished design.
  8. Then add other embellishments you see fit and gift it away proudly!

Cupcake Liner Car Card Craft Idea For Kids

These cupcake liner car cards are perfect for any occasion!

Here’s your checklist of supplies to bring this craft to life:

Prepare your creative haven by laying down a protective cover before the crafting magic begins!

Directions: 

  • First, if need be, cut a smaller piece of white cardstock paper to be placed on your card front. Secure in place.
    Cardstock Paper
  • Next grab ONE mini cupcake liner and flatten it out with your hands.
    1 Mini Cupcake Liners
  • Go ahead and now fold the flattened cupcake liner in half to look like a taco.
  • Glue that piece down, in the center of your card front. This step may take some extra effort but it’s super easy for kids to do.
  • Once the cupcake liner is down, grab your other sheets of cardstock paper and scissors.
  • Cut out windows, circular wheels, light etc. for your car.
  • Glue those in place on the card front.
  • Now take your black Sharpie marker and write "driving by to say" around the finished design.
  • Take this opportunity to draw a stick character in the front seat as well.
  • Then add other embellishments you see fit and gift it away proudly!
