Cupcake Liner Ladybugs – Valentine’s Day Craft Idea For Kids
If you loved our Cupcake Liner Bees kid craft from the other day – you are going to love today’s crafty post! I’ve decided that for a new year resolution, I would challenge myself when it comes to the types of kid craft tutorials I share on the Glued To My Crafts blog.
Basically trying something different from our normal paper plate and tissue paper crafts {although there will still be a TON of those in the near future!}
After doing some deep cleaning in my craft room recently, I’ve come to the conclusion that I have WAY to many unused cupcake liners in my possession.
At one point in my life, I aspired to be a fancy cupcake baker but that idea has pretty much gone down the drain. Although I’m admitting my dream has failed, that doesn’t mean the multi-colored liners have to follow suit too. These inexpensive paper pieces can be easily turned into kid craft masterpieces with a little imagination and time {hence my new venture!}
So today I present to you our Cupcake Liner Ladybugs Kid Craft. Not only is this a kid friendly idea that is super simple and fun for all ages BUT it’s also really inexpensive when it comes to the supplies {we are talking cents!}
PLUS if you like, you can easily turn this ladybug kid craft into Valentine’s Day cards or special keepsakes for grandparents or friends. And don’t let the fun stop with just Valentine’s Day either. This kid friendly red and black ladybug craft idea is also great for welcoming spring into your home, as well!
Find all the creative details below! Happy crafting, my friends!!! Don’t forget to share pictures of your paper and red cupcake liner ladybug creations, on our Facebook page to admire from a far this Valentine’s Day holiday! I can’t wait to see how cute they turn out! #gluedtomycrafts

The Simple Craft Directions:
* First flatten by hand and glue your red cupcake liner down to a single sheet of cardstock. This may take some extra effort but it’s super easy for kids to do.
* You can probably do one or two red cupcake liners on a basic sheet of paper.
* Once the cupcake liners are down, grab your black cardstock and punch some hearts out, as well as making the antennas for the ladybugs.
* To finish the Cupcake Liner Ladybug craft, have children glue on the black paper pieces to the cupcake liners and add other embellishments that you see fit to make your ladybugs.
* Then display proudly or gift away!
