Love Plant Craft Supplies:
* Large Paper Plate {one plate makes TWO love plant crafts}
* Tan/Brown Tissue Paper
* Colored Cardstock {any color you like!}
* Kid Friendly Scissors
* School Glue
* Hand-Held Stapler
optional – other embellishments like glitter, stickers, pom poms, faux feathers etc.
Directions:
* First cut your paper plate in half. Reserve one half for this craft {or both if you like!}
* Next cut your tan tissue paper into small squares.
* Put a good amount of glue all over the paper plate half.
* Have children place the tissue paper on top of the glue, until the plate is completely covered.
* While they are working on that, cut out the stem of the flower, as well as a heart from the cardstock.
* If desired, have children decorate those pieces.
* Finally – to finish the Paper Plate Love Plant – simply staple your cardstock pieces to the finished paper plate “dirt” to complete the craft.
* Then display proudly!
