Thumbprint Car Cards For Kids To Recreate For Friends

Thumbprint painted cards are the perfect way to kids to make a fun, easy and inexpensive gift from the heart. Find out how you can make your own fingerprint paint car cards!

Craft Supplies:

  • Washable Ink Pads
  • Cardstock Paper
  • Craft Scissors
  • Glue Stick
  • Black Marker
  • Small Heart Stickers
  • Baby Wipes
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • Use my pictures {and video tutorial} listed above for examples but basically you want to make TWO thumbprints next to each other, on a piece of white cardstock.
  • Then draw on embellishments to give it the look of a car and then trim down/add to a card front for easy mailing!!!
  • Use markers or scrapbook stickers to add phrases like “driving by to say…” or “wishing a speedy recovery!” to the front and to add a “punny” element!
  • Add little heart stickers towards the back of the car so it looks like “love” is coming out of the exhaust pipe.
  • Then gift away the finished thumbprint race car cards to the lucky receivers for them to enjoy your masterpieces!
