Reindeer Envelope Puppet - Kid Craft

Turn an ordinary brown envelope into a playful reindeer puppet in minutes! This easy kid craft is perfect for Christmas and is sure to keep the little ones entertained. Check out our step-by-step tutorial now.

Reindeer Envelope Puppet - Kid Craft

This easy kids craft is perfect for Christmas, and can be made within minutes. Your little ones will love playing with these adorable puppets!

Craft Supplies:

  • Square Kraft Envelopes – 1 per reindeer craft
  • Light Tan Cardstock Paper
  • Dark Brown Cardstock Paper
  • Red Cardstock Paper
  • Craft Scissors
  • Glue Stick or Tape Runner Adhesive
  • Adhesive Wiggle Eyes
  • 1 inch Circle Paper Punch

Directions:

  • First things first – you are going to cut out your reindeer nose, belly and antlers from the various colors of cardstock.
  • Now grab your blank kraft colored envelope and glue stick.
  • Take the envelope and make the side that has the triangular flap, face you.
  • Using the glue stick, glue down the cardstock belly shape down first {under the flap} and follow that up with the nose, wiggle eyes and antlers on the envelope.
  • Finally – take the circle paper punch and punch TWO holes near the bottom of the decorated envelope, for your child’s fingers to slip through and turn the reindeer into a puppet.
  • Then play with your newly made reindeer puppet made from an envelope and/or display proudly!

  • Cardstock Paper

Prepare your creative haven by laying down a protective cover before the crafting magic begins!
