Handprint Hooked On Daddy Printable

Father’s Day is right around the corner and I have yet ANOTHER keepsake idea that is PERFECT to make in honor of grand ole’ dad!

Inspired by my other Hooked On Daddy Canvas Idea that went viral a few years ago – I was inspired to make a printable to make it even easier for YOU to pull it together with ease {especially those in preschools and daycares!}

All you need to do is download my FREE Hooked On Daddy Keepsake Printable below, print on blue cardstock and add your child’s sweet little handprint in the center. Then finish off with a drawn on “hook” and you have an instant gift idea that can be placed in a frame or given as is!

Hooked On Daddy Keepsake Printable

Surprise dad with a personalized gift that will be sure to make him smile beyond Father’s Day!

Craft Supplies:

  • Hooked Printable – on our landing page
  • Blue Cardstock Paper
  • WASHABLE Craft Paint
  • Large Foam Paint Brush
  • Paper Plate
  • Baby Wipes
  • Large Wiggle Eyes
  • Glue Stick or School Glue
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • First grab the FREE Hooked On Daddy printable.
  • Print it out, in color, on a single sheet of white light blue cardstock {or any color you like!}
  • Next grab your craft paint and paper plate.
  • Squirt some paint on the paper plate.
  • Pick a hand – any hand!
  • Paint your child’s hands completely and press them in the center of the printable to create the fish.
  • Then draw a “hook” coming from the handprint, as well as adding a wiggle eye and heart shaped lips to make him come to life!
  • Set aside to let it dry completely.
  • Add other embellishments you see fit, as well as having children sign the bottom.
  • Then display/gift away proudly!
