Today’s Chocolate Kisses For Daddy Handprint Card Idea is the perfect excuse to get messy AND make an adorable {edible} quick gift for dad on the upcoming holiday.

In this new to Glued To My Crafts post, I’ve included a “Blowing Sweet Kiss Your Way” printable template for you to enjoy with ease. From here, all you need to do is print our provided free file, add your child’s handprint and finish it off with a chocolate “kiss” attached to the center, to tie it all together. It’s so simple for Father’s Day, you have NO excuse NOT to recreate it!

Chocolate Kiss Handprint Father's Day Card

Craft Supplies:

  • Free “Kisses For Daddy” Template Printable {GRAB IT ON BOX.COM}
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Color Printer
  • Washable Craft Paint or Colorful Ink Pad
  • Large Paint Brushes
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Baby Wipes
  • Red Construction Paper
  • Paper Craft Scissors
  • Large Glue Dots
  • Hershey Kisses or other Small Wrapped Chocolate – one per printable
  • optional materials – embellishments like glitter, rhinestones etc.

Directions:

  • First download the Free Kisses For Daddy Themed Printable listed above.
  • Print it in color on a simple sheet of white cardstock. You only need to print ONE per craft. Please only use our file for personal use.
  • Next, grab your choice of color in craft paint or an ink pad.
  • Paint your child’s hand completely and press it on the printable, right next to the box with the poem.
  • Set aside to let it dry a bit.
  • Remove excess paint from hands with baby wipes and a quick trip to the sink.
  • Now grab your red cardstock, wrapped chocolate kiss, scissors and glue dots.
  • Cut out a simple small heart shape from the cardstock.
  • Attach that piece to the center of the handprint you made earlier.
  • Follow that up by using a glue dot {or two} to attach the Hershey Kiss to the center of handprint.
  • Add other embellishments to give your chocolate kiss card piece for a personalized look.
  • Then display and/or gift away your handmade kiss gift to someone proudly!

  • Color Printer
  • 1 Large Paint Brush
  • 1 Small Paper Plate
