Handprint Volcano Keepsake Craft Supplies:
* Free Volcano Template Printable {download HERE}
* White Cardstock
* Color Printer
* Craft Paint {we used orange but you can also use red}
* Foam Paint Brush
* Small Heart/ABC Stickers
* Paper Plate
* Baby Wipes
optional – embellishments like glitter, rhinestones etc.
Directions:
* First download the Volcano Printable.
* Print in color on white cardstock.
* Now grab your craft paint and paper plate.
* Squirt the paint on the paper plate.
* Pick a hand.
* Paint the palm of child’s hand, completely with the craft paint and press it in the center of the printable to create lava coming out of the paper volcano.
* Lift up their hand and remove excess paint with a baby wipe & a quick trip to the sink.
* While they are doing that, grab your scrapbook stickers and spell out “I LAVA YOU” on the paper piece. You can also add some heart stickers around the handprint, as well.
* Once done decorating the handprint volcano keepsake piece, set it aside to let it dry completely.
* Add other embellishments to give your Lava You piece a personalized look, as well as having children sign the bottom.
* Then display/gift away proudly!
