Caramel Apple Friends Craft Supplies:
- Free Apple Template {download HERE}
- White Cardstock
- Color Printer
- Green/Red Craft Foam
- Tan Craft Felt
- Marker
- Scissors
- School Glue
- Jumbo Popsicle Sticks
- Colorful Glitter
- Large Wiggle Eyes
- Black Puffy Paint
Directions:
- First things first – download the free apple template above. Print it on white cardstock {or freestyle your own apple shape!}
- Using scissors, trim around the apple in the printable so you have a template for your craft.
- Now take a marker and trace around the apple template on the green or red craft foam. Trim out those pieces.
- Before you discard the apple template, use it to trace on the tan craft felt but only HALF of the template. This will be the caramel for the apples. Trim out that piece. Remember – you only want about half or less than half to cover the craft foam apple.
- Now you are ready to assemble the caramel apples. Simple glue those craft foam shape to a popsicle stick, followed by the tan craft felt “caramel.”
- Finally – it’s time for the embellishments and bringing it to life. Glue on the wiggle eyes, paint on a smile and add some glitter “sprinkles” for a fun look.
- Then set aside your Caramel Apple Friends to let it dry completely before displaying/playing with proudly!
