A is for Apple - Popsicle Stick Kid Craft Idea For Fall

“A” is for Apple Craft Idea

“A” is for apple and this latest popsicle stick kids craft from us, is the PERFECT activity to reinforce that idea!

With back-to-school season just around the corner, today I’m sharing another kid friendly activity that is SUPER simple for kids and adults of all ages to pull together to celebrate the moment in time! Plus, you can always throw in a lesson or two along the way – hint hint!

This Popsicle Stick “A” shaped Apple has a back-to-school theme, as well as a fall theme {it’s never too early to plan!} And it’s just that – an “A” shape made out of wood popsicle sticks that we then turned into an apple with cardstock paper & paint! Sounds super fun – right?!

Now are you ready to make it happen in your craft space? Well then – let’s grab our craft supplies and get to the step-by-step red apple craft tutorial below! I just know you are going to rock this apple craft idea!

Popsicle Stick A is for Apple Craft

Keep your kids entertained and productive with this easy and fun popsicle stick apple craft! You can make it RED or GREEN!

Craft Supplies:

  • Jumbo Popsicle Sticks – 2 per craft
  • Mini Popsicle Sticks – 1 per craft
  • School Glue
  • Red Craft Paint
  • Paint Brush
  • Brown Cardstock Paper
  • Green Cardstock Paper
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Black Marker

Directions:

  • First glue your popsicle sticks together to look like an “A.” Two jumbo popsicle sticks on the outside and the mini in the center to create the letter shape.
  • Set aside to let it dry completely. Repeat for each apple craft you want to make today.
  • Now it’s time for the paint! Simply have children paint the front of their popsicle stick design completely red. Set aside.
  • Next grab your cardstock. Cut out a stem from the brown, a leaf from the green and a triangle from the white for the center of the apple.
  • To finish off your Popsicle Stick Apple – have children glue on their cardstock pieces, as well drawing on some “seeds” in the center of the popsicle stick design.
  • Then let it all sit aside to let it dry completely before displaying proudly!!!
