“A” is for Popsicle Stick Acorn Craft

The letter “A: is for “acorn” and with fall just around the corner, this popsicle stick acorn kid craft is the PERFECT activity to reinforce that idea!

With autumn about to knock on our front doors, today I’m sharing another kid friendly activity that is SUPER simple for kids and adults of all ages to pull together to celebrate the moment in time!

This popsicle stick acorn craft idea has a fall theme, as well as being a great way to “teach” the letter A in your classroom studies. Super fun – right?!

Popsicle Stick "A" is for Acorn Craft

Looking for a fun, easy craft project to do with your kids? This popsicle stick acorn craft is perfect!

Craft Supplies:

  • Jumbo Popsicle Sticks
  • Mini Popsicle Sticks
  • School Glue
  • Brown Cardstock Paper
  • Tan Cardstock Paper
  • Craft Scissors
  • optional – brown paint/brush

Directions:

  • First glue your popsicle sticks together to look like an “A.” Two jumbo popsicle sticks on the outside and the mini in the center.
  • Set aside to let it dry completely. Repeat.
  • Next grab your cardstock. Cut out a stem, as well as a half-circle top for your acorn.
  • To finish off your wood craft stick acorn art project – have children glue on their cardstock pieces, as well adding any other embellishments they see fit onto the “A” design {maybe some gold glitter or brown paint?}
  • Then let it all sit aside to let it dry completely before displaying proudly!!!
