Craft Supplies:

Before you begin, make sure you have these materials ready. Good preparation makes crafting a breeze:

  • White Air Dry Clay
  • Acorn Shaped Cookie Cutter
  • Gold/Brown/Yellow Loose Craft Sequins
  • Rolling Pin
  • Tweezers
  • Adhesive Magnets – one per acorn magnet

Directions:

Now, let’s gather some supplies and get started!

  • Grab your clay and a rolling pin.
  • Roll out the dough on a flat surface.
  • Grab your acorn cookie cutter and cut out your shapes.
  • Carefully transfer each one to a cookie sheet or large ceramic plate.
  • To add some bling and color, grab your tweezers and sequins.
  • Gently push them into the clay near the top of the acorn. Arrange them however you want but keep them in that general area.
  • Once done, place your clay shapes on a cookie sheet or plate.
  • Then place in an undisturbed area and let them air-dry for a few days. Depending on the thickness, it may take a bit longer.
  • When your sequined clay acorn pieces are completely harden, go ahead and hot glue your magnets to the back for easy displaying on the fridge!
