Looking for a fun, easy and inexpensive craft to do with your kids? Then you’ll want to try making these adorable thumbprint heart magnets.
Craft Supplies:
- Air Dry Modeling Clay- buy it on Amazon
- Small Rolling Pin
- Heart Shaped Cookies
- Large Circular Craft Magnets
- Low Temp Hot Glue Gun
- Craft Paint {in any color you like!}
- Paint Brushes
Directions:
- First roll out your clay on a flat surface {about 1/4″ thickness}
- Using your cookie cutters, cut out heart shapes from the clay and set aside.
- Have your child press their thumb twice into the clay piece, to create a heart imprint. Repeat for each piece.
- Once done, set all your pieces aside to let them dry/harden {takes about a day or two!}
- To finish off your Thumbprint Heart Magnets, have children personalize them with paint or other embellishments.
- Once done, hot glue the magnets to the back of the clay shaped hearts and package them up for easy gifting.
