Oh my goodness! If you’re looking for an adorable, heartwarming, and engaging activity to celebrate your love for someone special, then look no further than creating a handprint turtle that will have you both saying “Turtle-Y Love You!”

Craft Supplies:

Directions:

  1. First grab the turtle themed printable listed above in the supply list.
  2. Print it out, in color, on a single sheet of white cardstock paper. You only need ONE print per craft.
  3. Next, grab your green craft paint.
  4. Paint your child’s hand completely and press it in the center of the printable to create the body of the turtle.
  5. Set aside to let it dry a bit.
  6. Remove excess paint with baby wipes and wash their hands.
  7. When dry enough, grab your brown craft paint and another paint brush. Paint on a “shell” for the turtle on the handprint.
  8. Next, glue on the small wiggle eyes for it to see.
  9. Once done, set aside to let it dry completely.
  10. Add other embellishments to give your Turtle-y Love You piece a personalized look, as well as having children sign the bottom. Then display/gift proudly!
