Today’s Popsicle Stick Apple Pie Slice craft is the perfect Thanksgiving craft for kids. It’s simple to make and only requires a few materials.

Plus, it’s a fun way to spend time with your child and get them excited about thanksgiving! So what are you waiting for? Grab some popsicle sticks and let’s get started!

A craft stick apple pie slice made from brown and tan paper, a cotton ball for whipped cream, and craft sticks on a clear plate, resembling pumpkin pie with whipped cream on a teal background with scattered white stars.

Our apple pie slice craft is the perfect fall themed craft for kids. It’s simple to make and only requires a few materials! Plus it will get you in the Thanksgiving holiday spirit as well!

Craft Supplies:

  • Jumbo Popsicle Sticks – 3 per craft
  • School Glue
  • Light Brown Cardstock Paper
  • Brown Cardstock Paper
  • Craft Scissors
  • White Cotton Balls
  • Black Sharpie Marker

Directions:

  • Grab three jumbo popsicle sticks and glue them together to look like a triangle.
  • Set aside to let them dry completely.
  • Once dry, go ahead and trace the popsicle stick design on a sheet of tan cardstock, to make the inner part of the apple pie {trim it down slightly to be a smaller triangle than your popsicle sticks} Set aside.
  • Grab the brown cardstock and cut out some “crust” for the pie.
  • Next grab both cardstock pieces and glue them to the triangle popsicle stick shape.
  • To finish off the Popsicle Stick Apple Pie Slice – grab a cotton ball and glue it to the center of the triangular design for the “Cool Whip.”
  • Now take your black Sharpie marker and draw on some “crust holes” to really tie everything together.
  • Once everything is glued down, set aside to let it ALL dry completely before displaying proudly!
