Perfect For Autumn – Apple Play Dough Recipe
Making my own scented play dough at home is so much fun – especially since my son loves playing with it. That’s why I’m so excited to share my recipe for apple scented playdough with you all today.
Since the weather is starting to get much cooler here in Wyoming, it’s time for me to start think of ways to entertain Lil Man inside our home.
Play dough is such a great sensory experience {especially with added scents and colors} it really let’s your child’s creativity come alive.
I personally like making a play dough station by grabbing some cookie cutters, pipe cleaners, wiggle eyes and of course a rolling pin. It really keeps my son engaged for a few hours and it’s my version of the popular “invitation to play” trend you see these days.
And since fall is knocking on our doorsteps and apples seem to be the theme of this time of year – I decided some Apple Scented Play Dough was a MUST HAVE in honor of the season. With just a few simple steps and ingredients from the pantry – YOU too can pull it together.
So whether you want to use the homemade dough for a pretend bakery, play dough mats or creative monster faces – the possibilities are endless with this one! My son absolutely loved it and the smell was AMAZING. {hello fall!} I just know we are going to get good use out of this recipe and I hope you take the time to make it for your little today!
