Make Your Own Tic Tac Toe Game

Recently I was asked to participate in ā€œCraft Lightning Weekā€ with Angie from the Country Chic Cottage and Caroline from 30 Minutes Crafts. Of course I was flattered {more like honored} and instantly said yes!!!

Today is DAY 3 and all week long my new bloggy friends Angie, Caroline and I {along with some other crafty friends from around the web} are sharing 15 minute or lessĀ Busy Bag Ideas that ANYONE can pull together on the fly!!!

So without further ado – here is today’s post forĀ Craft Lightning Week on the blog. I present to you my Simple Tic Tac Toe Busy Bag Idea that is perfect for those boredom moments on the go!!!

Not only is it super easy to pull together even for the novice BUT this on-the-go tic tac toe gameĀ is also PERFECT for restaurants, Dr offices and even on planes!Ā So be sure to check out the full tutorial below and scroll all the way to the bottom of this post for even MORE simple busy bag ideas that I’ll be featuring ALL week long!!!

On-The-Go Tic Tac Toe Busy Bag Idea

Craft Supplies:

  • SmallĀ  5×7″ Canvas Bag
  • Craft Felt – any color you like!
  • Craft Scissors
  • Fabric Glue
  • Large Craft Buttons {two different colors, ten each}

Directions:

  • First cut some of your felt into 4 long, thin stripes.
  • Lay them on your bag and trim them down to fit on top of the canvas, as well as making them look like a tic tac toe board.
  • Glue those pieces down onto one side of the canvas bag. Set aside to let it dry completely.
  • Once dry grab your buttons and pile them into the bag, close off and get ready to pull it out for a TIC TAC TOE DUALĀ with your child anytime and anywhere!
