When it comes to keeping kids entertained, few activities can beat the simplicity and fun of a good craft project. If you’re looking for a creative way to combine play and learning, our Paper Plate Apple Tree Tic Tac Toe game is a perfect choice!

Craft Supplies:

  • Large Paper Plate
  • Green Craft Paint
  • Paint Brush
  • Brown Cardstock Paper
  • Scissors
  • Stapler
  • Four Jumbo GREEN Popsicle Sticks
  • School Glue
  • Game Pieces – red pom poms and leaf gems

Directions:

  • First paint the paper plate completely GREEN.
  • Next cut out a tree trunk from the brown cardstock paper.
  • Go ahead and staple the trunk to the paper plate “leaves.”
  • To finish off the Paper Plate Apple Tree Game, glue the FOUR jumbo popsicle sticks into a tic tac toe, hashtag shape in the middle of the painted paper plate. Just line each craft stick with glue and place them down.
  • Set it aside to let it dry completely before you play with it.
  • When ready, add the pom pom “apples” and fake leaf game pieces & play tic tac toe as normal.
