Today’s Paper & Clothespin Unicorn creation is a REAL stand up kinda gal! Literally!!!
We are taking inexpensive wooden clothespins and cardstock paper to make a one-of-a-kind unicorn kid craft idea, that is great as decor and/or a pretend play puppet!

Supply List:
- Free Unicorn Body Template {GRAB IT ON BOX.COM}
- White Cardstock Paper
- Color Printer
- Crayons or Markers
- Paper Craft Scissors
- Wooden Clothespins {two per unicorn craft}
- optional materials – embellishments like glitter, stickers, rhinestones etc.

Directions:
- First print out the free unicorn body template printable on white cardstock paper. You only need one body printable per craft. Print as many as you like!
- Next grab your crayons and/or markers. Color the inside of your unicorn however YOU like!
- If desired, add some embellishments like glitter, stickers – whatever the heart desires. Make that unicorn as magical as you are!
- Once done, cut out the unicorn shape. Discard excess paper and set aside your unicorn body.
- Now grab TWO {or four} clothespins per unicorn. Using the same crayons and/or markers, decorate each one to represent the legs of the unicorn.
- Finally, when done decorating the wooden legs, PIN them to your paper unicorn cutout. Adjust them so the unicorn stands nicely on it’s own.
- When done, display proudly!

Make It Your Own:
- Another way to change up this easy craft tutorial is to use watercolors and black glue to decorate the unicorn. I have a great example of this technique in our Watercolor Llama tutorial 🙂 You’ll just have to allow the craft medium to dry completely before you cut out the shape and add the clothespins!
