Paper and Paint Splat Monsters

Paint Splatter Monsters On Paper

These monsters are made out of paper and paint, making them a fun craft project for kids of all ages!

Growing up, one of my favorite things to “craft up” was Splat Monsters. It’s still a very vivid memory I have.

Back then, to make my paint splatter monster creations, all I did was take a piece of thick construction paper, folded it in half, squirted some paint in between and pressed it together to make a smashed design inside. From there, we decorated it to look like a fuzzy monster.

It wasn’t anything elaborate but I still remember doing this very craft several times in my elementary school years, to this day. Well friends – I’m bringing back this crafty idea from my childhood but “puffing” it up by adding my favorite puffy craft paint to the mix!!!

I love the puffy paint element since it’s in it’s own squirt bottle {hello less mess for kids} and it creates a fun, shiny finish that I absolutely love!

So no need to be scared my friends!!! Find the full Puffy Paint Splat Monster tutorial below! Remember – this craft idea is great for Halloween AND Valentine’s Day for love monsters as well! Hint hint! Happy crafting, my friends! #gluedtomycrafts

Craft Activity Safety Guidelines:

Always Ensure Adult Supervision - Young children should be supervised at all times when engaging in craft activities. This is essential to keep them safe and ensure materials are used correctly. Use Age-Appropriate Supplies - Choose craft supplies that are suitable for your child’s age. Check labels for recommendations and avoid items with small parts or sharp edges for younger children. Modify as Needed - Feel free to adapt materials or steps to meet your child's abilities and safety needs. For example, substitute scissors with safety scissors if necessary. Keep an Eye on Allergies - Be mindful of potential allergens in craft materials like glue, paint, or certain fabrics. Opt for non-toxic and hypoallergenic options whenever possible.
