Paper Plate Eyeball - Paper Kid Craft Idea For Halloween

Halloween Eyeball Craft Made From A Paper Plate

Hi my crafty and bone-chilling friends! It’s time to add another Halloween kid craft post to the archives but this one “may” be a little too scary for the little ones {but I promise there are a ton of other ideas in our Halloween archives soon!}

Inspired by some coasters I recently found in the party store, I came up with this Paper Plate Eyeball art project idea. Although it “may” be a little too gory for some….we still had fun putting it together.

With Halloween creeping up fast – I hope this craft inspires YOU to get crafty with your kids. So grab those supplies and get to work! {I’m watching YOU!}

Happy crafting my spooky friends! Don’t forget to share pictures of your #cutenotscary paper plate eyeballs on our Facebook page! #gluedtomycrafts

SNACK IDEA —> Monster Eyeball Celery Sticks

Directions:

  • First have your child cut the white tissue paper into small squares {perfect for practicing those cutting skills!}
  • Now put a good layer of glue ALL over the paper plate.
  • Have children place the tissue paper on top of the glue, until the paper plate is completely covered.
  • While they are working on that, cut the pupil of the eye from the cardstock {a large green circle and another smaller circle from the black}
  • Now glue those cardstock pieces to the center of the paper plate.
  • To finish off the Paper Plate Eyeball craft, have children go crazy with the red glitter glue all over the paper plate {I know, I know – kinda gross but kids will love it}
  • When done, set it aside to let it dry completely before displaying proudly!
  • Don’t forget to snap a few pictures of the completed craft to share with us! #gluedtomycrafts
