Get creative this Halloween and make these creepy-cute cupcake liner eyeball flowers! With a few simple supplies and a little imagination, you’ll be adding a spooky twist to your decorations in no time.

Craft Supplies:

  • EYEBALL Printable – on our landing page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Black Cardstock Paper
  • Cupcake Liners
  • Jumbo Popsicle Sticks
  • Black Craft Paint
  • Foam Paint Brush
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Craft Scissors
  • School Glue
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • First things first – print the free eyeball template out on some white cardstock paper.
  • Trim out ONE eyeball design per spooky flower you want to make today {save the rest for our MONSTER craft!}
  • Now grab the black cardstock paper and cut out one small flower petal shape.
  • Set aside both paper pieces till later.
  • Next up – grab the black craft paint, the small paper plate, paint brush and ONE jumbo popsicle stick.
  • Squirt a small amount of craft paint on the small paper plate.
  • Use the paint brush to paint ONE side of jumbo popsicle stick, completely black.
  • Set it aside to let it dry completely.
  • Now grab THREE cupcake liners and your scissors.
  • Flatten each cupcake liner out with your hands and stack them together, one on top each other.
  • Use the scissors to cut a “fringe” around the edge of the stacked cupcake liners.
  • Go ahead and use your fingers to curl some of your cuts, to give your flower some dimension.
  • Now you will want to secure the liners together with a little bit of school glue in the center of each.
  • We are heading towards the last steps! Finally – glue the stacked cupcake liners to one end of the painted popsicle stick from earlier.
  • Follow that up by gluing on the eyeball in the center of the cupcake liners, while gluing the petal shape on the other end of the stick.
  • At this point in time you can add small embellishments {such as spider stickers like I did!}
  • Set aside to let it dry completely.
  • Then display/gift away your spooky cupcake liner Halloween flowers proudly!

Craft Activity Safety Guidelines:

Always Ensure Adult Supervision - Young children should be supervised at all times when engaging in craft activities. This is essential to keep them safe and ensure materials are used correctly. Use Age-Appropriate Supplies - Choose craft supplies that are suitable for your child’s age. Check labels for recommendations and avoid items with small parts or sharp edges for younger children. Modify as Needed - Feel free to adapt materials or steps to meet your child's abilities and safety needs. For example, substitute scissors with safety scissors if necessary. Keep an Eye on Allergies - Be mindful of potential allergens in craft materials like glue, paint, or certain fabrics. Opt for non-toxic and hypoallergenic options whenever possible. Organize and Secure Supplies - Keep all craft tools and materials organized. Store sharp objects, small parts, and potentially hazardous items out of reach when not in use. Following these guidelines will ensure that crafts remain fun, creative, and, most importantly, safe for everyone involved!
