SUPER EASY Terra Cotta Pot Pumpkin Decor Piece – Kid Craft Idea For Fall
Hi friends! Are you having a good “hump” day so far? Continuing on with the pumpkin obsession from yesterday – today I have a kid friendly craft to share with you all. This time we are using supplies from Dollar Tree!
Whether you want a plain pumpkin or a Jack O’ Lantern – this craft is super easy and fun for all ages. I say it’s a kid craft, but honestly it’s fun for adults too.
Plus if you have any leftover terra cotta pots from your summer planting, you are well on your way to pulling this DIY together! I have ours currently displayed in our living room, but depending on how big your pots are, you can easily make these into decorations for your front yard.
Now let’s grab some craft paint and brushes so we can make this Terra Cotta Pot Pumpkin together – shall we? You can find ALL the details you need to know, in the full tutorial I’m sharing below!
Happy crafting, my friends! Please don’t forget to share pictures of your finished jack-o-lantern made from a terra cotta pot, on our Facebook page to see! I can’t wait to see how spooky {or not spooky} you make it! #gluedtomycrafts

Terra Cotta Pot Pumpkin Craft Supplies:
* Terra Cotta Pot – one per pumpkin craft
* Orange Craft Paint
* Black Craft Paint
* Paint Brushes
* Large Paper Plate
* Small Paper Plate
* Black Pipe Cleaner
* Green Pipe Cleaner
Step-By-Step Directions:
* First things first – squirt your TWO shades of paint colors on the SMALL paper plate.
* What “I’ve” found the easiest, was placing the terra cotta pot upside down on a large paper plate and then letting my child paint it. However you decide to go about it – go ahead and paint your pot completely orange.
* Follow that up by drawing on some triangle and squiggle lines for the jack-o-lantern features.
* Next grab your TWO pipe cleaners.
* Bend and twist them together to make a pumpkin stem & greenery.
* Go ahead and place the finished pipe cleaner piece through the hole of the terra cotta pot {hot glue in place if need be!}
* And that’s it! You now have an awesome terra cotta pot pumpkin to display proudly in your home!

Super easy, right? You can easily make a whole pumpkin patch in no time with this easy DIY idea. Hopefully you are inspired to recreate it!
