Directions:
- First things first – get your glue gun hot and ready.
- Take ONLY THREE of the jumbo popsicle sticks and glue them together to look like a triangle.
- Allow the piece to dry completely.
- If desired, go ahead and paint your newly made triangle shape.
- Set it aside to allow them to dry completely.
- Next up – choose a sheet of patterned scrapbook paper to go inside your jack-o-lantern pumpkin scarecrow.
- Use scissors to cut out a large triangle out of it, that will fit inside the popsicle stick design you just made and become it’s body.
- Now go ahead and secure the paper piece to the back of painted popsicle stick shape.
- Next – grab your remaining pieces of cardstock paper {including the printable!} and the scissors.
- Cut out a pumpkin head, a hat, jack-o-lantern facial features and anything else you think the head will need.
- Secure those pieces to the triangle shape.
- To finish off the Popsicle Stick Jack-O-Lantern Scarecrow Friend – glue the two remaining popsicle sticks to the BACK of the decorated triangle shape to make arms and the stick that holds the puppet together. See our picture for an example.
- Add any other embellishments you see fit like glitter, stickers, sequins etc.
- When done, set it all aside in an undisturbed area so it can dry completely before you display it proudly!
