Handprint Jack-O-Lantern Pumpkin

Got an itch to get creative? Make this spooky, one-of-a-kind handprint Jack-O-Lantern Pumpkin craft with your little ones this Halloween!

Craft Supplies:

  • Pumpkin Printable  – on our landing page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Washable Craft Paint
  • Paint Brushes
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Baby Wipes

Directions:

  • First print the free jack-o-lantern poem keepsake printable.
  • Grab the orange craft paint and squirt it on a small paper plate.
  • Pick a hand – any hand!
  • Paint the palm of your child’s hand completely orange and press it in the center of the printable.
  • Gently lift up their hand to reveal the handprint design underneath.
  • Use baby wipes {and soapy water} to remove excess craft paint from hand.
  • Now grab the remaining paint colors and a small paint brush.
  • Paint on designs to give the look of a jack-o-lantern pumpkin.
  • Set aside to let it dry completely.
  • Add other embellishments you see fit.
  • Then display/gift proudly!
