Paper Plate Pumpkin - Kid Craft Idea

Paper Plate Orange Pumpkin

Pumpkins…. oh glorious pumpkins!

There is just something about them that makes me smile.

From beautiful decorations to a delicious pumpkin pie – they are a MUST when it comes to fall. And now that autumn has officially started, my brain is spinning with tons of ideas for kid crafts. If only I had more time in the day…

If you are like me, paper plates are a must-have supply item when it comes to kid crafts.

Paper plates are readily available and pretty inexpensive. I can usually pick up a HUGE pack at Walmart for less than $5 and it’s lasts us almost the entire year {and this is coming from the mama who does almost everyday a craft with her son}

Not only do I use them for keeping our paints under control {and for easy cleanup} but an ordinary paper plate can be transformed into just about anything.

Take for example, today’s Paper Plate Pumpkin craft post. We took an ordinary paper plate and transformed it into a beautiful pumpkin. It’s pretty easy, low on mess and oh so fun! My favorite part is probably how we in-cooperated lil man’s into it.

So on that note…. are you ready to learn how to recreate with your younger crafter today? See the full tutorial below and get ready for some amazing fall themed craft fun today!

Happy crafting! Please don’t forget to share pictures of your child’s wonderful pumpkin and jack-o-lantern paper plate creations with us on our Facebook page! #gluedtomycrafts

Modify as Needed - Feel free to adapt materials or steps to meet your child's abilities and safety needs. For example, substitute scissors with safety scissors if necessary. Keep an Eye on Allergies - Be mindful of potential allergens in craft materials like glue, paint, or certain fabrics. Opt for non-toxic and hypoallergenic options whenever possible.
