Craft Supplies:
Gathering supplies for this craft is refreshingly simple. Most households already have these basic materials:
- Large Paper Plate – 1 per craft
- Orange Tissue Paper
- School Glue
- Craft Scissors
- Green Cardstock Paper
- Brown Cardstock Paper
- Stapler
- Pen or Pencil

The beauty of this craft lies in its flexibility. You can create stunning pumpkins with just the basics, or go elaborate with additional decorative elements.
Directions:
- First cut up your orange tissue paper into small squares.
- Put a good layer of glue all over the paper plate.
- Have your child cover the paper plate with the tissue paper, until completely covered.
- Set aside to let it dry.
- On the green cardstock, trace your child’s handprint out.
- Trim out the traced design with scissors.
- Out of the brown cardstock, cut out the stem of the pumpkin.
- Stapler both pieces to the top of the paper plate to finish off the Paper Plate Pumpkin.
