Directions:
- First grab three popsicle sticks {three per skeleton friend} and paint them completely black. Simply squirt some paint on a paper plate and paint one side on each of the popsicle sticks.
- When they are dry enough, glue them together to look like a triangle.
- Set aside the newly made triangle piece to let it dry completely.
- Repeat the above steps for each skeleton piece you want to make today.
- While your shape is drying, go ahead and print our free skeleton head printable that is listed in the supply list. There are FOUR heads in the printable so you can do this craft four times at once.
- Go ahead and color in the heads however you like & trim out each one when done.
- Now grab your remaining cardstock paper and cut out the center piece {a large triangle for the skeletons body} and legs with boots, for your skeleton.
- When the popsicle stick shape is dry enough, start gluing on the cardstock pieces. The large triangle adheres to the back of the shape, while the head & legs are on the front.
- Finally, take THREE q-tips and glue them the popsicle stick shape to look like “ribs.”
- To finish off the Craft Stick Skeleton Friends – add ANY and ALL embellishments you want. Be sure to go to town and really give it your own spin!
- When done, set it all aside in an undisturbed area so it can dry completely before you display!
- Don’t forget to snap pictures of your Halloween skeleton out of popsicle sticks, to share with us! #gluedtomycrafts
