Paint Splat Cauldron Craft Supplies:
* Black Craft Foam Cauldrons – one per craft {Dollar Tree for a pack of 8 – $1}
* White Cardstock
* Tulip Puffy Paint {or any craft paint in a squirt bottle}
* Basic Paper Craft Scissors
* School Glue
* Baby Wipes
optional – glitter, sequins, rhinestones etc.
Directions:
* Please make sure you have a good working area that can get dirty because paint will squeeze out of the sides of this craft!!!
* First fold your white cardstock in half {you need one sheet of cardstock, per craft.}
* Unfold and squirt some paint on one side of the paper {I like the Tulip Puffy Paint for this particular step since it’s in a nice controlled squirt bottle} Be sure to keep the paint inside the paper and not place too much down. Just enough to make a marbled design.
* Once the paint is down, go ahead and fold/squish your paper together again. Be sure to rub your hand all over the folded piece, so the paint will cover your the inside nicely {paint WILL more than likely squeeze out the sides, so be sure to pay attention to that and clean up with baby wipes!}
* Now carefully unfold your piece to reveal your design inside. This will be the inside of your cauldron. Sprinkle some glitter/rhinestones on top of the wet paint if desired. Set aside.
* Now grab ONE black craft foam cauldron. Cut out a circle from the center. It can be as big or as small as you like & it doesn’t need to be perfect either. This will act as a window “inside” your cauldron.
* To finish the Paint Splat Witch’s Cauldron craft – add glue to the back of and lay your black cauldron piece on top of the paint splat design.
* When done, set aside your pieces to let them dry completely before trimming it up to display proudly.
