Keep your kids entertained with this fun thumbprint Ferris wheel craft idea! It’s perfect for a rainy day or when you need a little crafting time yourself.
Craft Supplies:
- Ferris Wheel Printable – on our landing page
- White Cardstock Paper
- Color Printer
- Washable Ink Pads
- Thin Tip Colored Markers
- Baby Wipes

Directions:
- First print out the free carnival wheel template printable on a single sheet of white cardstock paper. You only need ONE print per craft.
- Have children press their thumb on the ink pad and then press it down on each Ferris wheel car in the printable.
- Repeat until you have all the “seats” filled with thumbprints.
- Use the baby wipes to remove excess ink from your fingers {as well as a quick trip to the sink!}
- When ready, grab your thin-tip Sharpie markers and draw/add on facial embellishments to each of the thumbprints on the carnival wheel, to give them life.
- Finish off your Thumbprint Ferris Wheel by adding other embellishments you see fit.
- When done decorating, then display and/or give it away proudly!
