Fingerprint People In Ferris Wheel Craft Idea

Today’s Thumbprint Ferris Wheel kid craft idea is for the older children {and even adults} in your life! All you are going to do is add your “fingerprints” to add little people cruising and enjoying their ride on the paper carnival wheel. Easy peasy!

With the free printable template I’ve included in today’s post, it’s super simple to “doodle” and make a one-of-a-kind piece to show off in no time!

Just download the FREE file below, grab some colorful, washable ink pads and get ready to customize your carnival ride paper piece however you like {maybe even using it as a birthday party keepsake by having every kid in attendance add their thumbprint and name!}

Thumbprint Ferris Wheel - Kid Craft Idea

Keep your kids entertained with this fun thumbprint Ferris wheel craft idea! It’s perfect for a rainy day or when you need a little crafting time yourself.

Craft Supplies:

  • Ferris Wheel Printable – on our landing page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Washable Ink Pads
  • Thin Tip Colored Markers
  • Baby Wipes

Directions:

  • First print out the free carnival wheel template printable on a single sheet of white cardstock paper. You only need ONE print per craft.
  • Have children press their thumb on the ink pad and then press it down on each Ferris wheel car in the printable.
  • Repeat until you have all the “seats” filled with thumbprints.
  • Use the baby wipes to remove excess ink from your fingers {as well as a quick trip to the sink!}
  • When ready, grab your thin-tip Sharpie markers and draw/add on facial embellishments to each of the thumbprints on the carnival wheel, to give them life.
  • Finish off your Thumbprint Ferris Wheel by adding other embellishments you see fit.
  • When done decorating, then display and/or give it away proudly!
