Your little ones will love making these adorable friends, and you’ll love how quick and easy they are to put together!
Craft Supplies:
- Jumbo Popsicle Sticks
- School Glue
- Yellow Craft Paint
- Large Foam Paint Brush
- Small Paper Plate
- Paper Craft Scissors
- Green Cardstock Paper
- Black Sharpie Marker
- Wiggle Eye Stickers
Instructions:
- First glue your popsicle sticks together to look like a fence. You will want to lay seven next to each other and follow that up with the remaining two, the other direction to make the pineapple shape.
- Set aside your newly made shape to let it dry completely.
- Once dry enough, you are ready for paint.
- Go ahead and squirt the yellow craft paint on the paper plate.
- Use a paint brush to paint your popsicle stick pineapple shape completely yellow.
- When done painting, set it aside to allow it to dry completely.
- Now grab your green cardstock, marker and scissors.
- Trace your hand on the green cardstock and trim out the design for on top of the pineapple.
- To finish off your Popsicle Stick Pineapple – glue the handprint cutout to the back of the painted popsicle stick shape and add on the wiggle eyes to the front.
- Then take your black Sharpie marker and draw on a smile & several “x’s” all over to complete the look.
- Then display your creative pineapple shaped piece proudly for all to see!
