A fun and easy craft project perfect for rainy days! These thumbprint birds will brighten up any house!
Craft Supplies:
- FREE PRINTABLE – on our spring landing page
- White Cardstock Paper
- Washable Ink Pads
- Thin-Tip Sharpie Markers
- Baby Wipes
Directions:
- First print out the free template{listed above in the supply list} on a single sheet of white cardstock paper. You will need ONE print per craft.
- Next up – have children press their thumb on the ink pad and then press it down on the “telephone lines” in the printable.
- Repeat the thumbprint step until you have all the “seats” filled with “birds.”
- When done with the ink step, use the baby wipes for clean up {a quick trip to the sink doesn’t help either!}
- Now grab your markers and add beak, legs and eyes embellishments to the thumbprints to give them each life.
- Finish off your Thumbprint Birds on a Wire by adding other embellishments you see fit.
- Then display/gift proudly for all to see!
