With this Paper Love Dump Truck craft idea for Valentine’s Day, all you need to do is download the provided file below, print it out and get straight to work with your child, as you fill it up with paper hearts! My best suggestion is that you raid your paper stash for red, purple, pink and maybe even blue paper scraps, to make the craft even easier!

It’s super easy, pretty inexpensive and perfect for even young children. I’ve set up the basic frame work – it’s your job to get the creative juices flowing for Valentine’s Day!

Love Dump Truck - Kid Craft Idea & Free Printable

This fun and easy kid craft is perfect for Valentine’s Day! All you need is a printer, some paper, and some glue.

Craft Supplies:

  • Dump Truck Printable – on our landing page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • School Glue/Glue Stick
  • Scrapbook Paper Scraps
  • Paper Heart Punch

Directions:

  • First print the Love Dump Truck printable in color, on white cardstock.
  • Repeat for each valentine truck craft you want to make today.
  • Next punch out a good amount of hearts from your scrapbook paper scraps.
  • Have children glue the hearts on the back of the bed of the dump truck, in the printable, however they like.
  • Once done, they can add other embellishments if they like or simply display as is!
  • Then let it dry completely before you display it proudly!
