Paper Plate Valentine’s Day Bear

Welcome friends! I’m so glad you are here today on our Paper Plate Valentine Bear tutorial. It’s inspired by the upcoming Valentine’s Day holiday and it’s “BEARY” easy to recreate!

Let me start off by saying that the craft supplies for this kid friendly paper bear tutorial are fairly inexpensive and readily available this time of year. Dollar Tree is actually my favorite place to stock up on pink tissue paper and Valentine heart stickers. You can’t beat the price for either/or, especially since the pink tissue paper can be used BEYOND the lovestruck holiday {and we will show you that, over and over again!}

With a little creativity and inspiration, you can create fun crafts for your kids that they’ll love! Check out this paper plate Valentine’s day bear craft idea.

Craft Supplies:

  • Large Paper Plate – 1 per craft
  • Pink Tissue Paper
  • Pink Cardstock Paper
  • Red Cardstock Paper
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • School Glue
  • Scissors
  • Stapler
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • First cut your pink tissue paper into small squares.
  • Put a good amount of glue all over your paper plate.
  • Have your child place the tissue paper on top of the glue, until the paper plate is completely covered.
  • While your child is working on that, cut out the other bear embellishments from the cardstock. Think eyes, nose, ears, mouth etc.
  • To finish the Paper Plate Valentine Bear craft – glue/staple on the bear features to the paper plate.
  • Add other embellishments you see fit and display proudly for ALL to see!

Here’s your checklist of supplies to bring this craft to life:

  • 1 Large Paper Plate
  • Tissue Paper
  • Cardstock Paper
  • School Glue
  • Scissors
  • Stapler

Prepare your creative haven by laying down a protective cover before the crafting magic begins!

Directions:

  • First cut your pink tissue paper into small squares.
  • Put a good amount of glue all over your paper plate.
