Your kids will love this fun and easy paper plate milkshake craft! Perfect for a Valentine’s Day spent indoors.
Craft Supplies:
- Large Paper Plate
- Pink Tissue Paper
- Purple Cardstock Paper
- Black Cardstock Paper
- Red Cardstock Paper
- School Glue
- Basic Craft Scissors
- Office Stapler
Directions:
- If you haven’t already, cut your paper plate in half. You can either make TWO milkshakes or save one paper plate half for a rainy day!
- Next cut {or tear} your pink tissue paper into small squares.
- Put a good amount of glue all over one paper plate half. Let children place the tissue paper squares on top, until it’s completely covered.
- While they are working on that, cut out the other milkshake embellishments. Think drink glass, straw, as well as the heart shaped cherry on top.
- To finish off the Paper Plate Milkshake kid craft, staple/glue on the cardstock pieces to your paper plate.
- At this point in time you can also glue on some cotton ball “whipped cream” as well as any other embellishments you see fit.
- Now set aside to let it dry completely before displaying proudly!
