To complete this handprint flower pot craft all you need are a few craft supplies and time, and your kiddo can have a super unique art piece to gift to those who taught or helped them along the way. Let’s get started!

To complete this unique handprint flowerpot craft, all you need to do is print out the provided “thanks for helping me grow” file on light brown cardstock paper. You only need ONE flowerpot print out per craft. Go ahead and trim it out with scissors and discard the excess paper.

Next trace your child’s hand THREE times, on THREE different colors of cardstock paper. Trim out each traced design from the paper. These will become your flower petals.

Now grab another piece of colored cardstock paper and staple on the flowerpot cutout to the bottom of it.

Finally glue on the THREE handprints in the center of the paper, along with some green stems and leaf cutouts, to bring the flowers to life.

And that’s it! It’s honestly doesn’t get any easier than this! This flowerpot keepsake craft can happen within minutes and I sure hope you give this great project a try today!

A quick note – you can also use washable craft paint for your child’s handprints instead!

Modify as Needed - Feel free to adapt materials or steps to meet your child's abilities and safety needs. For example, substitute scissors with safety scissors if necessary. Keep an Eye on Allergies - Be mindful of potential allergens in craft materials like glue, paint, or certain fabrics. Opt for non-toxic and hypoallergenic options whenever possible.
