What You Can Find On Our Website:
Welcome friends! We are so glad you “clicked” on this particular link today!
I’ve been trying to think of creative ways to make it super easy for our readers to find EXACTLY what they are looking for, any day of the year. Hence how this very kids crafts collection post was born.
This post is titled Crafty Themes On Glued To My Crafts and it’s just that. It’s a quick collection post, of the various themes we have covered on our website, right now.
Right here is a great starting point for the new readers to our site that want to get to know us and what we have to offer. From here, you can “bookmark” the post and reference back to it in the coming months & years, as the time goes by. IT WILL BE GROWING – I PROMISE! From popular holidays to upcycled materials you never thought to use, we have a little bit for everyone, at any skill level on our site!
So let’s get to it! We are starting from the beginning of the year {New Year’s all the way through Christmas} and towards the end of this post, you will find a few popular materials that we like to hit hard on our website.
Hopefully we have everything covered and you have a great starting point to get “lost” in our website 🙂 If you see something missing or you have some suggestions of what you would like to see, let me know so I can work on it!

- Crafting with Paper Plates – one of my favorite materials and what really got Glued To My Crafts started five years ago! There are a million and one ways you can make a simple paper plate come to life!
- Popsicle Sticks – this material is probably one we will NEVER stop using in our tutorials. My personal favorite is our popsicle stick taxi tutorial!
- Cardboard Tubes – who knew a paper cylinder shape could make such great pieces!
- Cupcake Liners – I bet you didn’t know that a cupcake liner could become a pool float. Yup. This is where we really shine in our projects for kids.
- Pipe Cleaners – with this bendy material we step outside the traditional alittle!
- Garden Rocks – the perfect excuse to get crafty AND make something for nature.
- Free Printable Templates – we LOVE creating and sharing these with our readers. They make craft time much smoother and of course, faster. These are also great in the classroom.
- Tulip Puffy Paint – we have dubbed this material and our fun painting technique of using it, the Glued To My Crafts way! Check out our Tulip puffy paint roundup to see what I’m talking about!!!
- Seashells – since we live in Florida, this material comes natural to us. From ornaments to even puppet friends, seashells are fun to in-cooperate into craft time with kids.
- Paper Napkins – who knew you could use this random material to make ballerinas or winter tree art.
- Upcycled Puzzle Pieces – we all have that puzzle set that is missing ONE piece. So before you throw the set away, why not craft up something new with them? We will show you how!
- Bubble Wrap – when those Amazon boxes come to your door, SAVE THE BUBBLE WRAP! We love using the plastic material as a stamp in our crafts. Take for example our popular Bubble Wrap Cherry Blossom Tree.
- Tissue Paper – I can’t stress it enough. BUY ALL THE COLORS OF TISSUE PAPER. A little goes a long way and you won’t regret adding it to your stash!
- Forks – who knew they could become instant paint brushes! From polar bears to flowers on paper, this unexpected paint brush is super fun!
- Paper Straws – not only are they for drinks but they come in handy for making puppets, 3-D art and even Christmas gift tags!
- Wooden Spoons – just like paper straws, who knew you could craft with wooden spoons. We will show you so many ways to incorporate them into pretend play moments!
- Pool Noodles – it’s the unexpected! We call this our Dollar Tree score. We love cutting up the material and making various pieces come to life with random items from our craft stash. From donuts to fish, it’s super fun!
